The f/art's worked well, did you follow through?.......... With your panning?.
The Kestrels are good the heads and bodies are sharp and bright whilst the wings show movement just right
I know what we say about bad light bad pictures but the light was awful that day and the Stonechats look
great. I have some in the same light and they are amongst my favourite Stonechats.

I think my fave has to be the Kestrel with it`s face just below the wing.
